I've always had fun trying to get into the head of a xenomorph and anthropomorphize them a little. With a hive sort of mind, I figure that being cut off would be one of the worst things possible for a xenomorph. And seeing one clearly alive in front of you but hearing absolutely nothing from it would be downright creepy. That was sort of the inspiration.
I'm sure a second later, the stasis tube just gets smashed, alarms start going off, and death and destruction starts raining down on the hapless humans, but it was a fun moment to capture while it lasted :).

Of course! It just wouldn't feel right without human slaughter!
I've never done much xeno art before just because I found it so hard to draw and I don't think my skill was quite up there yet. It still probably isn't for more complex, cool stuff, but I think I may experiment more with them in the future. They might be hard to draw for me, but I'm finding they're also very fun to work with!

*glomps* Hiya! :P
Yes, believe it or not, reports of my demise have been greatly exaggerated! Really, I've been both busy (as usual) and also experimenting with digital painting stuff on the side instead of drawing like normal. The only thing I really produced besides this recently was earlier this week, but since it wasn't furry related, it didn't make it only got uploaded to DA (just some random forest scene).

Thanks!
Heh, no pressure with the meme. I just put you on since you were the first person I knew that came to mind from FA that I thought it'd be fun to see what you might come up with!
I don't know how you could have possibly survived so long without internet though O_o. I always thought people just dropped dead... or imploded... or something if they didn't get internet access for more than a few days.

well, see, self-implosion is my default response to going internetless. LUCKILY, though, I've got a laptop that I can go online with, and I can also sneak in a few peeks at work. However, these only serve to lessen the effects of No internet. I'll probably have to switch to a stronger method like cocaine or speed or Cherry Pepsi.
Thanks, Salmy! Hehe, yes, cheetahs are DEFINITELY better. Although I love xenomorphs, too :). I'm hoping to work towards expanding the style and eventually incorporating it with my current one. So that way, we can get cute fuzzy cheetahs with hopefully much better and fun technique!
