Weeeeeell, it's been a while since I've drawn si'itians propperly hasn't it, not to mention si'itian armor.
So this is a kind of scene I've been planning to draw for ages but never really got down to until two days ago where I started it up. This is the result of a few hours of work.
I didn't make up a conflict for it completely, but I'd assume it's the Orians messing up galatic order again. Enemy projections, attack vectors and troop movements and some discussion around the tac-computer...
Anyway, hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed doing it ^^ not gonna be much more artwork soon since now the diploma projekt stuff is really starting up >_> ah wells
I'll still be doing those trades/gifts/commissions that are open, not to worry ^^

You know I've been fairly curious as to Si'itian technology and combat as I have a sci-fi planned.
Maybe I can also ask if you'd be willing to let me use them in this work.
It's nice to see them once and awhile and as for the artpiece itself, what's not to love? You got all the texture and shading details down pat, even the shadows look amazing.
Funny question that popped in my head just now; what is that symbol in the lower right hand corner?

Weeeeell, say it this way. I generally wouldn't oppose the idea of the Si'itians being included somewhere else, the galaxy is vast after all, but I'm not sure if I've updated/created enough background for anyone yet to play them "by the rules" if you know what I mean. We can have a chat about it if you like and I'll give it a thought or two...

The symbol in the lower right is the Si'itian Royal crest, simultaneously the symbol of the council of elders, the imperial guard and an identification symbol for the race as a whole...

I'm not sure if I've updated/created enough background for anyone yet to play them "by the rules" if you know what I mean.
Yes that could be a problem for anyone trying, (as I'm sure you have some specifics for them.)
If you're willing more enlightenment would be nice, and take your time; I probably won't be starting that project till January.

you know i've noticed it before but its really obvious in this pic. All the armor is generic in shape and design...and by that I mean there's no outward markings distinguishing ranks. (smart move actually) I'm guess there's a hud marker inside their helmets that distinguishes that stuff, ne?
