I added 20 levels to my Drummingbird Game. You can goof around in Free Play or try to play the 20 patterns.
Take a screenshot when you think you're done or have a high score, and one week from now, whoever has the highest gets a free request. (:
I hope the save feature works! If it doesn't on FA, try downloading it and playing it, or Play it on my site

I actually don't have that 3x3 number keyboard on my Mac, I played it on a regular keyboard just fine. (: I kinda did it outta preference because other drum games were kinda crowded with keys all in the same spot, and I prefer the way you can have each key laid out for each finger in a row. But maybe it'll be more fun for ya when you can play it on your other keyboard!
Aaaa, I love this! Gotta commit the keys to muscle memory in the later levels-- at higher tempo, the prompts were just throwing me off. At 2x, if you wait for the scrollbar to appear, you're usually already too late to hit the first key!
Also, PROTIPS FOR CONQUERING MAD BEATZ, ACQUIRING NUMERIC PROFICIENCY VALUES, AND GREAT JUSTICE:
1) Set the tempo to 0.5x, and just practice the first three keys or so. When you're comfortable with those, add the fourth, and so on, until you've got the whole sequence down!
2) Bump the tempo up to 1x, and just do what you already know in double-time! Repeat for 2x. (Note: I think 2x requires a certain point total to unlock...)
3) If your tempo is set to 0.5x, you get 1 point per hit. At 1x, you get 2 points. And at 2x, you get 4 points! Successfully completing a sequence gives you double points for that sequence. At 2x, the points really rack up!
I'm still practicing level 17... been playing for an hour, so I need a break!
Also, Nishi Nishi Nishi, there's a bug in the menu! If you pick level 14, it loads up level 13. I imagine that's an easy fix, though.

Woop! :D So many details!
It's definitely good to practice at a comfortable speed. I can do most of them on 2x, but it takes time going from slow, to normal, and moving up from there. (:
I think you have plenty of great advise here. And it looks like you figured out my points system exactly as it is. ;3 I wanted there to be a good reward for speeding up!
As for the tempo, you can play at 0.5x, 1x, and 2x at any point, they don't have to be unlocked. (: First time you hit T it'll go from 1 to 0.5, then from 0.5 to 1, then from 1 to 2, and then from 2 to 1. A weird little system but I didn't want to push people from super slow to super fast. X3
And :OOOOOO Cripes. Very good catch, thank you for noticing! I had that directed to the wrong level, but if you refresh level 13 and 14 should be correct now. And my points are all still there after updating that so hopefully it should be fine for yours too!
Thanks again for playing, I'm glad anyone is or'd get into it! :3

Yay! My first try at Drumming Bird 2.0! Hurray!
I do love the catchy introduction and how it is quite easy to select a level. Very cool.
I also think it is impressive how you set up a sort of "Mario Part 2" esque design, kind of like the mini-game "Dance to the Beat" / "Toad's Bandstand".
This is certainly a game in which requires patience and good finger typing skills to do. I guess I am out of practice, as I tried Level 2 and got only 23 points. Though, as I can, I want to keep giving it a go. It is super helpful you show the patterns and what keys to hit to make them. Good times! :)

Thanks Yosh! And haha, I did have that in mind, it's kinda what I imagined! 8D I guess Parappa's a little similar too, but yeah! I had a hard time making the keys move, so instead I put them in one place and had the stroller move around. (:
And it does take more than the typical four or so of a rhythm game, but it's still cool you were able to do so well! I do always want to make sure keys and letters are clear and visible for everyone, so I think you did well enough!
