...so yeah, up until today (well, yesterday) was my 26th birthday, so to celebrate I draw this, a tribute for the latest little thingie to help me kill time with on my DS - Digital World: Dawn. Pictured alongside my rather laid-back Kompy, Light Fang Tamer extraordinaire is my current 6-critter team back when they were still little Rookies (they're all Megas, Ultimates and one Armored as we speak).
Left to right, beware the nerd ramblings:
Wallace (Dorumon, wondering what is that thingy waving in front of his face.)
Delsol (Coronamon, peeking at the game his kind debuted in. He got renamed "Delsolus" when he hit Mega.)
Shinju (Kudamon, chillin' around the Tamer-Kompy tail. Renamed Shinloki once she hit Mega.)
Vile (Biyomon. Bit of a long story as to why he - yes, *he*, thus his bitterness for getting hit on by one of his fellow team members - was named that. Renamed Eriksan after he became a Gryphomon, named after the one from my Digimon World 2 game.)
Dawson (Hawkmon, not realizing the pink birdy's a trap. Also the resident Armored kid, as he's currently an Allomon in my game.)
Cale (Falcomon, uncertain if to let Dawson know about Vile gently or not-so-gently. Was the first to hit Mega, hoping to eventually try out for his more stronger variant.)
Now go 'way, I have to go get my butt royally kicked again.

Chose Dusk myself... I'm ecstatic that they've finally brought back DNA digivolving and MarineDevimons. Just a pity they still lack Bastemons, or I'd be able to make my own little dream team. (Also a pity traits aren't passed on anymore. Though at least attacks finally are again.) And FINALLY, someone else likes Digimon World 2! Everybody I talk to about the games seems to hate it for some reason.
BAH to the DW2 haters! I still dig out that game to have a go with my little team. I'm actually just halfway done with the actual game, so I've plenty of incentive.
No Bastetmon? Sadness! On the plus side I have the chance to get most of my fave Armors (Allomon, natch, and also Pairiemon) as well. I could well even try recreating my DW2 team once I have a bit more time and patience (getting back my Plesiomon's gonna be a bitch...)

Never reached mega in DW2 myself. XP I'll start it up again every so many months, but keep forgetting where I left off and wind up just going about lost for a while. I think I've gotten to the point... Where you're looking for the Ark. And my team is a MagnaAngemon, MarineDevimon, and a Deltamon... The MagnaAngemon has quite a bit of devil digimon in his history, and retains some rather nice dark attacks. MarineDevimon was more a rushed "gimmemdyoubitches!" thing.
Allomon and Prairiemon are indeed quite underloved... Though I'd still like to figure out more about Prairiemon's attacks. A few years ago I was using one in an RP who was basically a spy for the first major villain, and unfortunately it left me having to improvise... A lot. What was your DW2 team? I'd just love having a main trio of Bastemon, MarineDevimon, and Arukenimon. Maybe with a HiAndromon and QueenChessmon backing them up. Though with the lack of Baste, I'm still not sure what I'll replace her with... Probably the standard starter digi.

For the DS, yes. There's also I believe a game based on the latest series (Digimon Data Squad, aka Digimon Savers) fot...I want to say PS2. The X-Box 360 may be getting a game soon as well, if it doesn't already*.
Dawn, incidentally, is called that because it's one of two versions, the other being Dusk....in other words, yes, the monster training game that refuses to follow the same rules as Pokemon went and released *two different versions of the exact game just like them*! Genius! :D (to be fair, it's to encourage trading and breeding with other players but....)

my Dusk Team is Gatomon [named Angel] Renamon [named Jade], Lunamon [named Darla], Lalamon [named Rose], Belzimon [because he is the pimp of the team, no nickname], Snow Agumon [because nothing more heavy metal then a Gigaseadramon]
ok so it is heavy on the girls, but that is why Belzimon is the pimp he is, double impact biatch
