He strings it together as one run on sentence, but you have to be very close. This doesn't seem formal to me, which makes it hard for non-natives.

I read it as:
Disculpa, | tengo | mucha | hambre, | estaria | bien | si | me | como | a tu | amigo?
Sorry, | [I] have | much | hunger, | would [it] be | okay | if | [I] eat | your | friend?

Eg:
"Sorry, I'm very hungry, would it be okay if I eat your friend?"

So I was kinda close :) I just took what I could translate and tried to arrange it into something more English oriented.

I think "estaria bien [...]" is directly refering to the polite form of "estarias bien" "Would you be alright [...]" => "Do you mind"
So I would say "Sorry, I'm hungry. Do you mind I eat your friend?"
French and Spanish are supposed to be very close, but still it took me some time to get every word... I'm still glad that after 2 years of not using Spanish I'm still able to understand something ><. My Spanish teacher was so weird...
