Ehhh OK, once more, weird image done by me: WHO'S SURPRISED!? But once more... me trying to explain it. I've made it absolutely clear by now that I do like Jiraiya from Persona 4. I remember when the game did premiere and a lot of Narutards (SORRY FOR USING THAT WORD, I don't mean every fan of Naruto here, I mean the obnoxious minority) were upset cause obviously amongst all the Personas that were based on Japanese mythology, this one had to be ripped off from Naruto.................. and guess what? IT WASN'T! Jiraiya, Tsunade and Orochimaru are all characters from folklore, and a little different than shown in Naruto from what I read. EITHER WAY, the whole deal with it made me think of how if Saki were to become a permanent party member (which she doesn't) then she should have a Persona called Tsunade. If you call that incredibly stupid of an idea, then I wholeheartedly agree, but I had this image in my head of a maiden in a blue dress, with covered eyes and a blue snail shell on her back ... STUPID, I know..... and it did not work out... and by the end it was just about: HEY, what if JIRAIYA was a snail!? How would I set up all the details to match being a snail?

So yup, that's the story and this year I took the old sketch that I drew in the last quarter of 2010 and finished it!

Time spend on this: 3 hours and 45 minutes, and from that 2 hours 35 minutes on the lines, and 1 hours 10 minutes on coloring and shading.

I think he looks funny.... then again what do I know? I would even laugh at a goldfish in a bucket, so WHATEVER.

BTW, this is the last finished art piece in my whole artwork folder... except for the comic pages which I don't want to upload yet, so next time it might have to be an unfinished sketch or something, AH WELL!
