Kiriban prize for LiS7x @ DA. It's pretty ridiculous that I've never tried drawing arctic foxes before, seeing as they're one of my favorite animals.. but my list of favorite animals is like 15-20 animals long, soo lol. I haven't drawn a lot of them and I need to.

His arctic fox character is in transition between summer and winter coats, I assume? It's either grey undercoat with white fur growing in, or vice versa. I was scared to attempt this kind of coat since it's something I've never done before. I used a fur texture brush and I think it worked out better than if I had tried to hand-draw all those fur bristles. XD I didn't know how else I could've done it, really.
