The serpent can only be found at the edge of the world.

Nothing much is known about the serpent, firstly and most simply because it lives beyond the edge of the world. Man can no more go beyond the edge than he can journey to last month.

Secondly, to see the serpent is to be overwhelmed. There is nothing to prepare a soul for it; once in sight, the serpent fills one with such awe that it becomes impossible to fully comprehend what is before your eyes.

What could it possibly live on for sustenance? What in creation could support it's bulk and coils? Beyond the edge of the world, is it considered a god, a garden-pest, or something even further beyond the scope of belief?
