sorry... it's really just the method of getting the same result I guess *shrugs* only with this one I kept it simple and just added onto it instead of doing something complicated out of scrap. I'm much more comfortable with this and i'm sure i'll find out how to do the complicated effects I could do with the difficult method eventually <3

Oh, no worries there with me. I don't care about publicity much, and I'm perfectly comfortable with being an average artist. Sorry if I made it sound like I was complaining (I'm sure you've heard plenty of complaints along the lines of what I said); my intent was actually just observation about your "mad skillz." The "art retard" comment was just because I've had no real formal art training, so I'm not completely aware of half the techniques I myself use, let alone those of better artists.
It's kinda' funny to get lectured on something I've lectured other people about. Thanks for the concern, but we already agreed on that point, and it appears I wrote unclearly when using my own talent level to compliment yours.

okies sun. I do get to hear it a lot, but what really bothers me is people getting discouraged by what i do and draw. I've only had art classes in middle school that have taught me only the basics or proportions (not even anatomy or anything) perspective and such. Something you could pick up ina day

wow, such wonderful detail . . .

I realize it is something bordering on a fixation with me, but I do enjoy clothing you do, and this is a particularly good example. The flowers and birds are very nice and using the same colors reversed for the bamboo is very pretty. I like the way the details are rendered and the layers of fabric, fur and pillow make a very intriguing picture. Thanks for sharing . . .

thank you thank you thank you, lucky for you I really enjoy doing elaborate clothing designs like this. They may take a little longer to finish, but I enjoy drawing patterns and such to flow with the creaves and folds <3

I did just enough costume design in college to appreciate how difficult layers and textures are to do, but not enough to be able to do it well myself :P Until I get back into it, I shall have to follow your work around . . . *grin*
