XD it was digitally painted in photoshop from the ground up

The hair and skin texture were from a brush I picked up. I was try'n them out and it worked pretty well

Yep, there was a brush I used for the skin. I think it was intended to be a grass brush?
I'm not sure XD either way it worked out.

Mind you that's a 2 hour rendering XD;;
I don't think I'd be spending 2 hours on a single hand in any of my normal paints

I agree on the hair, but the lighting is near perfect. I thought it was an oddly filtered photo at first.
