Rule 42: If it exists, there is a Pony of it.
I didn't know who this character was until last weekend at Anime Banzai. I just kept seeing girls in skin-tight rubber latex with motorcycle helmets on. Granted, I'm certainly not going to complain about the costume but it was a character I didn't recognize at all. As boredom is so often the source of great inspiration, I took it upon myself to apply Rule 42 to this frequent cosplay. It wasn't until after the drawing was on my table that I learned the character's name was Celty and came from some show called Durarara. Apparently it's big or something. I didn't really care. I just liked that it inspired more ladies to go out in public in skin-tight latex.

Upon further investigation of this rule, it seems it's meaning has changed quite a bit over the years seeing as how 42 is the answer to the meaning of life, the universe and everything. Many rules have been considered to be Rule 42 over the years... including the rule that is now Rule 63. It's also been "Always remember your towel", "It is delicious cake. You must eat it" and "Nothing is Sacred".
