project for drawing II class. I had to do nature studies, and create a monster (or monsters, if I wished) based on those studies. I had too many ideas, so I couldn't just do one. I tried to have a theme, though. I'll let you guess what that was.

Top left: Thistle-horned Swamp Cat. Inspirations included a thistle-flower thing, tree roots, bat, porcupine
Bottom left: unnamed. Inspirations: vertebra of some large animal, monkey, and a hawk.
Center: Dragon. Inspiration: a root that seriously looked like a dragon. The neck/face are pretty much unchanged from the original root.
Top right: unnamed. Inspiration: chicken, taper, emu, kangaroo
Bottom right: unnamed aquatic creature. Inspiration: lizard, frog, hairless animal, and bird
