Meet Validus, Prince and acting ruler of the vast desert nation known as Raki. The Raki are best known for being industrious, short and short-lived, with average individuals standing about three feet tall and living to roughly thirty years of age. It's for this reason that Validus aspires to grant his people the gift of immortality - Even if he has to tear the secret from the very beating hearts of the gods themselves.
