Hey, FA's back. *marvels at the amount of new art updates*
This is a cover image thingy to be used in a local sci-fi magazine called Spin. There will be a lot of fancy text here and there, but thankfully that's not my job.
During the last few years I've done several cover images, which is fun 'cause I get to see them printed in full colour and everything. This time the editor wanted me to draw something unicorn-ish. I procrastinated so much I eventually had to whip this one up within a day. Candy colours, yay!

You can never go wrong with unicorns! At first I wanted them to look like medieval deerlike unicorns, but I then realized I didn't have the time to come up with proper lineart for that purpose. So I just worked on some of my old horse sketches. Insta unicorns. Just add horn. ^^;;
I think I'll make a little scrap image of the covers I've done at some point... I must admit that Spin is a pretty small sci-fi magazine, but here in Finland it's the oldest one of its kind. Maybe one day I'll get the chance to illustrate something more noteworthy, who knows.

Heh, me too... 1300 new updates and hardly enough time to even check my mail. ^^;;
I've drawn a few covers before, mostly in colour. A couple of b/w covers, too. It's fun, but it would be even more awesome if I got paid for the stuff I do. Maybe some day I'll be good enough to become a real professional, who knows. A girl can dream.
