I started this while the server was down. Too much time in opencanvas, followed by like, an hour in Photoshop, editing that one banner, pasting it in, drawing word balloons, adding text, etc.

I've beaten Portal 3 times, and am working my way through the Advanced Testchambers.
If you watch the lead-up cutscene right before the (oh-so-awesome) end credits, you see a room full of those AI spheres on racks arranged in a square. In the middle of the square is a small table, and on the table is a cake. Then some of the AI spheres light up, and a robotic claw comes down from above and snuffs out the candle on the cake, and it cuts to the credits.
Like I said, there *is* a cake. We just don't get any.

"The cake is a lie" is scrawled on the wall a few places in-game (I think...my computer's not fast enough to handle legible textures for long without barfing). It's also the main "secret codeword" from their https://www.aperturescience.com viral marketing site. :)
Oh, I know. I've gotten most of the places you're not "supposed" to be able to get to. I've seen the "The cake is a lie..." stuff, I've seen the Companion Cube shrine, I've found a couple of radios.
My point is, contrary to the writing on the wall, there *is* a cake...we just don't get any.

You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

ROFL. an instant +fav. Maybe she'd finally be contented with her position now she's used to host FA instead of doing silly researches? XD
