Old Antonino in his mind says: "Dad, 20 years ago, on this day, the light of your life is gone forever, God in his infinite will. He took you to His presence. I know it, because when your body still lay in the coffin, your face had a peaceful smile. The pain inevitably touched our hearts, specially mine because you're no longer going to be there giving us all your love. I can't forget that end year just as the clock struck twelve o'clock, seeing how father hugged their children, made to appear your memory on my mind and not having your presence there, filled my heart with much sadness and I ran to my mother and with tears in my eyes I hugged her telling how I missed you. Today, 20 years later, I keep thanking God for having given me and my brother one father so special as you were, and to my mother one man so special as you were. You may not have given us physical luxuries, but you gave us something not even money can buy, and it is the love. Also you the put creativity in me, so I pay this heartfelt tribute, with much, much love for you, Dad."

Antonino adulto em sua mente diz: Papai, há 20 anos, neste dia, a luz da sua vida se apagou para sempre, Deus em sua infinita vontade levou a sua presença, eu sei porque quando seu corpo ainda estava no caixão, seu rosto tinha um sorriso muito cheio de paz, inevitavelmente, a dor da sua ausência tocou os nossos corações, especialmente o meu, porque você não é mais vai estar lá dando-nos todo o seu amor, eu não posso esquecer que o final do ano, assim como o relógio bateu doze horas, ver como os pais abraçou os seus filhos, sua memória fez ser feita em minha mente e não ter sua presença lá para lhe dar um abraço e dizer feliz Natal ou feliz Ano Novo, encheu meu coração com grande tristeza e corri para minha mãe e com lágrimas nos meus olhos, eu a abracei dizendo a ela o quanto eu senti sua falta. Hoje, 20 anos depois eu continuo agradecendo a Deus por ter me dado e meu irmão um pai tão especial como você era, e a minha mãe um homem tão especial como você era. Talvez você não poderia nos dar luxos materiais, mas deu-nos alguma coisa, que o mesmo dinheiro não pode comprar, é o amor. Além você colocou a criatividade em mim, por isso dedico esta homenagem sincera com muito, muito amor para você Papai.
