This is one of two pieces that actually sold (!!??!!) at the craft show I just attended. He's fairly small but I think the colours were the final selling point.

Thank you! I'm trying to forcus more on the entire picture, not just the thingie in the foreground. Backgrounds are NOT my forte, but hopefully I'll get the idea.

You know me, always with the leaves. I'm trying to learn how to make 'em more than just little pointed thingies. Palm leaves are fun shapes.

Yeah, I tend to just do the standard teardrop shape. I can paint a basic palm leaf in something like acrylic but it's a little more complicated with transparent media.
