So here is the start of my first project. Its Outbreak drawn by

Basically all I wanted to do was see if I could embroider our characters in matching badges. So here is the first image.
I must say I am no where near a professional level. I am fairly basic in my abilities.

The paper used it just standard computer paper. There were no markers used, the lines were just color coded in Photoshop to make a color guide to follow. I'm not sure what paper your grandma gave you, but when I have to transfer images I tend to use Embroidery Tracing Paper from DMC. In Outbreak 5 (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/9129964/) the final one I explain about the paper I used. I will say its very hard to get all the paper out though. On Pillowcase 1 (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/10886294/) I used the transfer paper. Hope my answer helps. :)
