I luuurv butter chicken. If you want a super secret way to make damn good naan, get yourself a pizza dough from the deli section of the supermarket. To it, add a couple tsp of minced garlic and onion, and enough sugar to just sweeten it. Kneed it together and let it rest, then divide and form it. Cook as you would normal Naan.
It's practically the same dough :3

what would happen is 2 things. 1 your chicken would over cook and turn into pulled butter chicken. and 2 all the juices would be sucked out of the chicken, it would be dry. chicken doesnt like to be overcooked. so i would say no. but for something quick. just use a jar of butter chicken sauce. it's really good too.
I don't have half-and-half nor heavy cream around here (I live in Europe). I often get in these pesky situations where it's hard to find substitutes for certain ingredients which can't really be found here.
I do have plenty of creme fraiche and yoghurt, so I'll make sure to use those. Thanks a bunch for both the recipe and the help! Dunno when I'll actually get to make this recipe, but I'm quite certain that I'll like it =)

I saw this the other day and had to make it! First time using Garam Masala, well first time making anything Indian really, and it turned out awesome! Thanks for posting the recipe! I used a homemade chili powder (1 ancho chili, 1 gajillo chilli, and 2 arbol chilies toasted and ground) and fresh toasted and ground cumin. I really wanna make a homemade garam masala now^^
