Some more expression practice, but these are a bit more sketchy. x3 I did a bunch of sketches of my fursona/OC Aisha the black jaguar and her friend Jake the gryphon, just kinda stretching my facial muscles so to speak. x3

From left to right on down, Aisha is: Horrified, disgusted, coy, pleading/urgent, peaceful, -very- angry, thoughtful, and amused. Jake, similarly, is suspicious, light-hearted, confused, serious, trying to sing and probably failing, joking, stoic, and floofed out. x3

I learned a few things about expressions while I was trying some new things here too:

1. It's much easier to angle faces when you use basic shapes as guidelines, unlike how I used to always go just freehanding it.

2. Adding wrinkles in the right places on the face -really- intensifies expressions dramatically. I often hate using wrinkles on my youngish characters, I don't want them to look -too- old, but there are times they're quite helpful. x3

3. Even if avians don't have teeth, like Jake here, they're still amazingly expressive. xP
