I'm glad you like the way it sounds, I've been struggling to get a nice acoustic guitar sound for years. I use an old USB connected mic, believe it or not. It's made by Samson. The guitar I played for this recording is a Martin MMV - a full sized dreadnought great for strumming.

That's pretty interesting, actually. It makes sense though, since it is running through a USB.
The quality of the mic itself isn't bad at all, but if I left the tracks as they were recorded originally - you would hear all kinds of hiss and muddy sound. I have to go in and run different filters on the tracks to get them them clean and sharp.
