Just a temporary thing, to get my ideas down. I don't claim to be a master of anatomy, so theres alot wrong with this...especially the feet, which I can't seem to draw right...
Random notes:
-Males and Femals are basicly the same other than a very slight size difference, and the horns/lips.
-Genitalia is similar to a horse, on males and females.
-Some females do have tusks.
-Some males lack the extended lip and head ridge.
-The lip serves no other purpose other than being a signal in mating season and as a way to distinguish male from female.
-the extended lip is fleshy and can be moved to a degree...up down, side to side.
-Body is like a melding of horse and dog anatomy....
-They are mammals, but they lay eggs.
-I'm pulling most of this stuff right out of my ass....
NO STEALING!

Ahh, they lay eggs? o.o So they are monotremes, huh. How many eggs do they lay at a time, and how many pairs of teats does the female have? (the more babies they have, the more milk the young need, hence the question X3)
They do look strangely reptilian... Do they have a very short coat of fur or do they lack fur altogether? o.o What kinds of environments do they live in? (having prehensile tails and long toes with claws, I assume they are good at climbing...?)
Do they hunt alone or in packs, or maybe they are also scavengers? Are they strictly carnivorous or omnivorous? How social creatures are they?
Lol, I ask too much XD
The sexual dimorphism is cool, the lip looks funky. 83 Those head ridges look quite thick, I could imagine battles between males be a cross between those of stags or rams headbutting each other with their horns or like canids, snarling and bearing their fangs - or tusks.
I hope you'll develop this species further, it seems quite interesting thus far. X3

They usually have one or two young, sometimes three. But the third often dies off. Females have only two teats, thus why the third dies.
They have short fur, like a horse...sometimes thicker in areas, or all over depending on the environment. Sometimes they are hairless...
They can climb, and stand on two legs. They live in almost any environment, other than extreem heat or cold. There would be variations of them depending on the environment as well. Like smaller monkey-like ones in thick forests, or heavier ones with thick coats in colder areas...stuff like that.
They live in complex family structures much like a pack, with an alpha male and female. They hunt, forege, scavange. They eat anything and everything they find.
They usually fight more with growling snarling and posturing rather than butting heads. But if the intimidation dosn't work, they go to butting heads. If that dosn't work, they really fight and get bloody...
I really want to work more on these. :D

Not if it manages to tear your throat out...or rip a limb off...they won't heasitate to do such things when they feel threatened...Dosn't matter what gender you went after...
And you wouldn't just deal with one. They stay together, usually in pairs. So you'd have to deal with it's partner...
