I was very sad when Fuzisawa closed their Youtube, Laki is such a beautiful suit! Marie is very beautiful as well!

I heard of the pleanty of rip offs. And one is on that forum if I recall who became a purple one, it's a shame as that species was so unique back then but it seems to have been catagorized as a chibi dragon and now anyone can become one.

Yeah same and those were all catagorized as Chibi Dragons too. I personally know they arn't that species as the real name is what was intended.

Yeah, Fz refers to the species as Kururutei (a name she goes by as well). They aren't just a dragon, they have unique features: being fuzzy, no wings, no horns, big ears, and the almost cat-like nose/snout. I would compare her situation to that of the sergal creator, except Fuzi does not want others using her species. It's a shame because she's very kind and clearly stated that she doesn't mind people drawing her species (with credit of course) but it's way different when people make fursuit rips because her suits mean a lot to her. :/

From what I've seen on FZ's old posts and from some of the other Japanese furs (such as RadyWolf), the whole big eared wingless "chibi" dragon style is quite commen. FZ seemed to only be upset at those who used the same character (color scheme, species, markings, ect). Those suits like the chibi dragon RadyWolf made, who don't have the same colors and markings but are still Kururutei/"chibi" dragons, weren't getting any hate/being accused of being a rip off.

I think It's just a fine line where suits and characters can be considered too similar, I've seen this happen before with other origional charecters.

Personaly I love the character designs of both the FZ kururutei and RadyWolf's chibi dragon and woulden't mind a similar species/design suit, but I would prefer if such a suit had its own charecter design and wasn't just another red/blue kururutei knockoff.

If only I known before doing my fursona inspired of her species, I feel very bad.
I want to keep my fursona Kaede, but I feel forced to take down everything I done, that's not fear cause it mean a lot for me too. I really like her species she done and I would like to give her all the credit she deserve to use what she created. :(

In case, I made another fursona for being sure nobody will claim me copyright because I'm sure no one likes being surprised by copyrights.

I think for the fact the Sergal was allowed to be cross breeded by permission is why it was made by everyone who liked it. I used to follow fzsw's twitter blog and enjoyed his unique species known as a Kurururite gah hard name to pernounnce xDD I tend to just refer them as Huzisawa/Fusizawa creation for short, I don't like the term chibi dragon as they are more unique than that... the fact the name gets used for all designs bypasses what the original creator intended it to be.

And interesting info on the description you have there as that seems like the way fuzisawas artwork always turned out. The most funniest thing is when someone asks those who make on like his on "What species it is?" they always reply "I am not sure it could be anything or just lie and say chibi dragon" ^^;
