The frigid air started to stir through the snow, blowing flecks of frost across his face. A sweet relief to the heat coursing through his veins, biting into the cut across the side of his muzzle, a staunch reminder of the enemy he was up against.

Pointed ears twitching at the sound of a still forest, only the soft sounds of the wind amongst the trees, and his own visible breath saving them from the deafening ring of absolute silence.

His eyes cast down at the slowly growing red stain on the snow, as liquid life dripped from his enchanted blade. Gaze unfocused, the kitsune recalls his earlier battle and the events that transpired afterwards.

His eyes close for a minute, to prepare himself mentally for what was awaiting him in the clearing. Eyes opening again to stare at the blood on the snow. Red and white.

Managed to catch this guy as he was new to FA, but dang, he has very limited slots, and takes his time, as the quality is much better than this! This is the low-res copy too. Hard to believe that he queues up every year or so.
