'My best bet to get the suspicious purple pony to calm down, was to let Rarity talk to her. After all, it was more likely that a friend would calm her mind, than me. However, to simply go with the safe side, I did manage to get the potion onto Twilights food. I could only hope that it would start working, but I knew it was going to take a while, to kick in.
Esspecially with a Unicorn, as it had to fight its way through her own magic.
The mind control would usually start later on, leaving me to follow Twilight after our meal together with Rarity. However, the mere possibility of it working left me with a sensation of feelings and even more questions.
[Use her to feed Rarity. Support the chubby marshmallow pony until she is big enough, before using her magic to expand further upon that.
Use her, to make magical food. Everypony could benefit from that!
Begin to fatten her, alongside Rarity. Perhaps by other means though.]

He he no offense but skeptical Twilight kinda looks drunk... yet not exactly an expression easy to pull off in a three-quarter view.
Also Rarity looks impressively arched here, much more than her two interlocutors. I expect such position would be more than a little uncomfortable, especially considering her extra weight. That's still pretty good for a first back view though.
After considering these trivialities anatomy and proportions are quite spectacular, especially on your OC. And props for trying a new angle.
As for the options proposed, option 3 would require two fattened ponies at once on multiple drawings. I expect drawing chubby ones to give you much more work than regular ponies, so reasonably I would not vote for an option giving you pretty much twice the work for a long time to come. Although once you're done with Rarity it will be interesting to make her a witness of Twilight's progress. I expect growing one at a time would be easier than two at different rates, sizes and by different means.
I would vote for 1, though I would enjoy Twilight using option 2. Practically once Rarity is big enough, Twilight would make magical food to expand her further.

I must admit, I am not happy with any of my drawings lately. Things often seem unproportioned and just.. off. I can not explain why however. Perhaps I should just not draw when I am tired. And no offence taken, I have nothing against critic. It can only make one improve.
It seems to me while you have a fairly good instinct with bodies and volumes, new faces and expressions take you a little more experimentation. I would guess nothing you can't improve with practice, considering you already pretty much always succeed with your OC.
You could drop the three quarter angle for a while if you need to relax, I know how faces is a real pain to get right with this one.
By the way opening a tumblr was a bold move, I wouldn't be shy to answer textually. I saw many artists burn out by drawing more than they enjoyed, feeling compelled to satisfy their audience. It's a good thing to remember you're not obligated to release any material, being here or on your tumblr.
Similarly at this point it would be reasonable to keep your drawings fairly simple. If you let yourself dragged in drawing a complicated scenery with a bunch of canon ponies of different sizes in different angles and positions it could be hell to render. Good chances are it would take you an absurdly long time to draw and that you would end frustrated and dissatisfied with the result. Working on three at a time was already audacious, considering your first posted picture is only three months old. Many artists don't even draw two at once after a couple year of practice. And that's regular ponies, I expect chubbified ones to be even more difficult to draw.
Anyway have a good rest.

Another option, that could be portrayed as #2, is to have Twilight make use of the "Want it, Need it" spell. This could be a very useful tool for not only fattening up Rarity but to also get Rainbow Dash and Applejack to eat more, since I imagine your crusade to make them larger hasn't ended, even if your attention have shifted elsewhere.
#2 - I agree with carknex. Use her to make magical food by altering her "Want It, Need It" Spell to work on those who only eat the food. (I.E. Instead of wanting it on sight, they'll want it on taste.) Make sure it's a light version of the spell because rampaging ponies would be way too obvious and gather too much attention. (Plus, using the full power of the spell on all that food would be so exhausting.)
Not only would this make things easier for you with handing your other targets and the ponies you already captured, but you can also keep an emergency box for yourself to use on Twilight. When that potion starts to wear off, give Twilight a few boxes to fatten her up. Be sure to have a tool that limits the ability to use magic to prevent her from fighting back. (I think there's a ring you can place around the horn called a Limiter.) You can even use it to fatten Spike to immobility, so he wouldn't be able to reach his feather pen or the parchment. Watch out for Owlicious and Peewee in case the spell with the food doesn't work on them.
Take note that when you capture Pinkie and take care of the Cake family, you will have a way to distribute the magical fattening food all over Ponyville with Sugarcube Corner. Just a little something to keep in mind. ;)
In short, go with Option #2. Not only will it make your job easier to get the other elements and play with already-captured elements, it'll let you be able to take Spike and Twilight out of the way in case the potion starts to fail.
This has been another analytic post for this tale. Good luck on capturing all six Elements! Even if they have to go eventually, I'm sure they'll make wonderful pictures for your scrapbook.

I say why not do all three?
In order: 2: have mind-controlled Twilight help you make enchanted-super-fattening foods.
1: have her feed Rarity, say that you and Twilight worked together to make special fattening kind of her favorite foods.
3:at about the same time, fatten up Twilight claiming the she too wants to fatten up for fashion.
Then by the end when there too fat to even move, just hook them up with some kind of custard tank to REALY 'pump' them up.
What-ya think? :)

It really depends on what kind of effects this potion has. Is it total mind control, or does it merely make her susceptible to suggestion?
If we're talking mind control with no memory afterwards, might as well go full monty with option 2. Just be sure to hide all the evidence afterwards so it will be too late by the time she figures it out.
If she's only open to suggestion, then option 3. Plant the seed in her mind subtly. It is said that having heavy friends makes you more likely to become so yourself, so you can use both Rarity and Twilight to create a positive feedback loop for each other. This is the safest option as you can hide your tracks more easily, but it is also the most deviously fun!
