OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG
Doreys are excitable creatures.
This is the sort of sight one might be treated to if somebody is giving away cookies, announces the presence of pizza, or a good friend arrives and needs to be greeted or any number of other events deemed to be of interest.
GENERAL ADVISORY:
-In the event of an excited high-velocity Dorey, bystanders are encouraged to seek shelter, or at least make reasonable effort to dive out of the way.
-High-velocity Doreys are not entirely stable and are predominantly rear-drive, leading to the strong possibility of oversteer whilst cornering on smooth or loose surfaces.
-Even in straight lines, the rear half has a tendency to to outrun the front half (pictured).
-Particularly excited Doreys can achieve zero to holycrap in under three seconds, assuming ideal traction conditions.
Went for a very slightly cartoony style here; paws, head, eyes and ears are all slightly bigger than usual to facilitate cute. ^^

LOL!!! Oh gods, that's so cute. Yep, I could see that happening. So ah... if you ever drop by one day, I'll know to very carefully announce any cake, muffins or cookies that I just made. XD I like the paws - they don't look too big at all, look just right. Even if they're flying by at 100+ km/h.
Hehe! Yeah, I can get enthusiastic.... though consider yourself warned; you might get run at like that for hugs no matter how careful you are. ;) Very glad you like! Quite pleased with how the paws came out myself. ^^ I think of myself as having slightly largeish paws anyway, so their size here is probably pretty accurate really.
Doreys in this state of excitement are also extremely hazardous in confined spaces. *looks around the apartment* Oooooh dear....
A friend of mine has a dog who tends to greet visitors in a similar manner, the only possible causes of action are either A: Brace yourself against something solid and deal with the fact that you are going to get licked to death, or B: if you foolishly find yourself on open ground at the time, simply accept the fact that you are going to get bowled over and end up looking at the sky, and just pray you're not carrying anything fragile.
...He seems to have similar issues with smooth or loose surfaces too, and experience has shown strong tendencies towards oversteer as well.
Very cute picture.
