SO.. I have this ugly Styrofoam man head for holding suit heads when I make them. But as some of you may know, they are light and topple over often when too much foam/fur has started to be applied. They are also much too small and not very realistic in proportions and I often had to pad it out.
THIS annoyed the hell outta me! >.<
After getting all the bases I needed done this year, I have decided to modify him... Yes I could have just made a life cast of crazy's head but yeh.. I don't think he would want to go through that X"3
Anyways..
As you can see, I made him into a plasticine man! I coved the whole foam head with a layer of Plasticine, then slowly built it up all over and gave it an actual nose and a brain XD Much more realistic proportions and overall.. way better than foam man X"3 (quite pleased with the result! could have gone way more detailed.. but this needs to be cast and only using it for a stand really)
Next up I'll be making a mould and casting it in plaster for a heavy/sturdy head to work with!
