This is the kind of scenario I live for. Now to get my boat out of dry storage and seaworthy again so I can pay Tsarin back for conscripting the aid of the best artist to depict this. If I ever end up sailing in the bay area (?), you are most certainly invited. Just out of curiosity, do you know what model you based the boat off of, or was it something of your own design? It reminds me a bit of a Cal 30.

I love the touch of "My Hero" look in the otter's eyes. The background is magnificent, as are your characters. I never take your work for granted; every time, you manage to amaze and delight. I love this.
