Blair from Soul Eater badge.

So there is a story with this.

At the con I attended a coupe of weeks ago (the one where I was cosplaying as Riza) and I decided to join a fanart contest. I was kinda nervous cus I assumed that I would have to draw fanart for anime, which is still something kind new to me! I've only seen a few series and Studio Ghibli films, so I wasn't so sure how I would do.

Then they gave us our topic, which was just "animal". Then my thoughts were "OH GOSH YES! Yes, I can draw animals! Oh phew! Oh wait, it still has to be from anime. CRAP! I don't any animals from the animes I've seen! CRAP CRAP CRAP! Oh wait, there is Blair! Okay, I've got this!"

Blair is a witch-kitty-thing from the anime Soul Eater, a new favorite for me. So I decided to BS this character, kind of in my style, and decided to go full out with markers, pens, and whatever else I had in my case. Turns out that I came in second in the competition, with the first place winner drawing something from Homestuck.

So yeah, that had been really fun. I just felt like coloring in my entry, cus I'm fond of this character, despite her sexual tendencies. I also wanted to play around with badge making, cus I need to develop a style for it.

I obviously had to go fix a few things, especially since I wasn't using any reference. And I felt like I coulda done better.
