Despite the funny image, this is very serious.
Do not touch other people.
I'm not talking about giving hugs or pats on the back; those are fine (provided that you ask first, of course). I'm talking about when you come up to someone and just flat-out help yourself. If it's an accident, you do NOT follow up with "oh, are you really a girl?" and then "is that your boyfriend?". You say "I'm sorry!". And you mean it.
Inappropriate touching isn't "cool" or "funny". Don't do it. I myself am fortunate that I'm more angry than disturbed, but that doesn't somehow make it any more okay or less worse. Respect others, and maybe then you'll actually get some instead of resorting groping mascots in a bowling alley.

i never object a hug or a snug, etc from people i know. but if a person's a turbo creeper, or a little teeny-sluttcake (yeah, i nickname them lol)
they can keep the hands to themselves ^^
the plus:
you know the difference between a cyber-gesture and a nonphysical one! :D high five! (seriously, "ehug." haven't heard the whole e*term* since AOL days! made me feel happy to hear it again ^^)

Actually had a problem similar to this at Halloween. Guy totally asked if I was a girl (like my boobs didn't give that away on top of my voice) but I could see him prepare to grab my chest. He went as far as trying to grab my mask, to which he immediately got was a no no. For real, hands off. I don't get the whole hugs thing. Like...do I know you? No. Don't touch.
I was wondering if this would ever happen to me when I get my full suit...than I stop and think 'i have really small ones' so if anything, I might be groped more so them thinkin I'm a man unless they heard my voice or notice my body language.
But if I was in the situation I'd probably get angry also with them not apologizing.

I completely understand. I had to do a stupid Easter Bunny gig a few years back. Had to be a male, but it's hard to cover up what I have up top. Didn't have time to bind, and I had kids grabbing my chest, saying. "Isn't the Easter Bunny a boy?" I had to use the excuse I was his wife x.x; I don't know how many kids paws I had to swipe that day. So annoying. Then there was the "Your muzzle isn't real!" And they'd try to pull it off[it was a fake one that had that little elastic string to snap around the back of the head like a party hat]. Again, more paw smacking.
Personal space is required when suiting, no matter what kind, and even unsuited. I mean really. x.x; I have a bubble people, do not touch. My partner isn't too pleased either with the idea of me being...touched...like so. So. I feel for you. <3 -Offers interwebs hug.-

idk, people have tried it with my more gender-neutral suits and someone else tried to have a great time with my friends' manbits at FE. People are just gross, man. Or can't get any otherwise... I like the latter theory better, since it's more insulting to them.
Internet empathy for you! <3

I'm really sorry about this, WB. :\
Unfortunately, this is not the first incident with this individual. At this point, there are a few venues we might take, but some of us need to sit down and talk about it first...
*hugs*
I do hope this incident hasn't ruined your evening though!!

That's one of the things you should have common sense for ... for my first interaction with fursuiters at EF I even read it in their con-rules ^^
Sorry it had to happen like this :/
I'd be angry as well, even more so if he/she wouldn't apologize after that, this seems to get more and more nowadays (no apologizing for something bad you did I mean).
That's also one of my concerns when I would go out suiting for the first time (not at a con, but out --theeere-- ), getting groped or getting continously touched against your will.
Besides that ... despite the bad happening ... that picture is hilarious, sorry, but I cannot stop laughing ^^;;

omg it took me forever to figure out how to use clone stamp (had to get rid of my real eyebrows). Photoshop MASTER!
Well, on the bright side your buttpadding might save you! I know it's more about the fact that someone is helping themselves but at least it's one more barrier! I myself padded out my "girls" a little so he mostly got stuffing.

Mmm~~ buttpadding
I guess I would be weirded-out if someone would touch me in some ... areas ... while suiting. Granted it didn't happen when I wore your partial at EF, just some nice hugs and interaction with people, but hearing this would make me nervous, as I really wouldn't have the slightest idea how to respond or act in that sudden moment ^^;;
Did you tell them that wasn't alright or did they just leave after that?

After making sure I had the right person (it was dark and he changed shirts, perhaps to avoid detection?), I went up to him and basically tore him a new one in front of his friend :3
Not everyone's a creeper, thankfully. Generally if you travel in a group (which you must always do while suiting anyway, safety first!) you'll be fine. In this case I think the guy was less of a sexual predator and more just a garden-variety social dumbass, hopefully me calling him on it encourages him to like, learn how to act in public.

Would never suit alone ... would be way to insecure for me as I'm a person that joins others in their fun. I have a hard time doing things-on-the-spot while suiting, still learning and everything and fighting my inner devil to actually go up to people ^^;;
Ah, good to hear that you got him and told him. Also good that it was "only" one person, I thought you had an encounter with a couple of people while reading your journal.

Oh, just that one guy at the bowling event but I have had other people get freaky with me in and out of suit throughout my life.
And don't worry about the New Fursuiter Syndrome, you'll get over it. My first few times I was like "oh god what am i doing D: im a giant animal in public" but it gets better! <3

It's disgusting how some people think they have the right to touch someone like that without permission. Even if the chest or butt IS just padding, what makes someone think the person in the suit or the character they're playing is okay with being touched like that?
If it's not your body, it's not your business. >:[

Amen to that :/ and it REALLY makes me angry how some people will only lay off you if you say you have a boyfriend/girlfriend... it's really kind of disgusting that they won't respect your space because you don't like being touched that way, they'll only respect your space because the way they see it you already "belong" to someone. Ugh. It's terrible!
I don't understand how some people think that because someone is in a fursuit, it's some sort of magical catch-all invitation for creepers to touch as they please. e.e

I think his logic was less about "oh, she's mated so hands off" and more about "oh shit, did I really just molest someone right in front of her boyfriend? I'm so getting my ass kicked D:". I don't doubt the former happens a lot, though!
I also giggle profusely at people who think fursuit = come and get it! I'm dressed as a giant dog. I am not feeling very sexy at this moment, tyvm.
