Long story short: Don't dare me to carebearify anything unless you're reaaaally sure you want to see it. :)
So, I've been doing a little thinking and I figure there's gotta be a lot more animals up in the great care bear land in the sky than just the ones known as the care bear cousins. I think calling all the non-bears cousins is a bit silly, so I've been calling them skykin. And what if there were species of skykin that didn't exist on earth? I mean, we're talking about multi-colored cuddly animals here; sky's the limit right?
So, let's say there is a tribe of eight-legged horse skykin that are descended from Sleipnir himself, and here's one of 'em. Champion Heart, were he to do the caring mission thang and go down to earth to be a cuddly little therapist for kids, would likely emphasize the importance of standing up for what you believe is right. But given his somewhat frightening appearance, I think he's rather shy about approaching kids. I know my first reaction would probably be to pee myself if I saw an eight-legged care bear horse. My second reaction would be to demand a pony ride.
The only other stuff I know about this guy are that he's a bit taller than most of the other cousins, and that he's formed an unlikely friendship with Playful Heart Monkey. Don't ask me why yet; I'm still thinking up ideas for this whole revamp project. :) Oh, and he's not quite used to this whole love and caring stuff yet; he's used to fighting his battles with armor and a well-placed spear.
I'm not done with this one; I wanna color it, but I'm pretty certain he's just brown with darker brown mane, tail, and eyes. I'll bet you anything "just brown" is the equivalent of being a sparkledog to a care bear. That'd make Tenderheart Bear a walking freakshow!

So he's quite literally a fighter? I can only imagine what his advice to kids is: "Stand up for yourself and what you feel is right, don't take any crap from anybody, and if that doesn't work, break their resolve with a well-placed charge and kick their ***!"
Not only do I like this Care Bear/Norse mythology crossover, but I also like the idea that some of these guys are fighters at heart, making their brand of love and friendship a little more unique.
