nice and strange creature. reminds me a great deal of those long-legged bird critterd from The Dark Crystal. this one is clearly dignified, ruffling it's body's appendages like peasant feathers.

lol, the dark crystal was arguably my favorite movie as a kid, i watched it over and over. i wanted to draw some land striders a while ago but i couldn't find any good references, i'll have to get a DVD and just go from there XP

but i will get around to painting these guys again eventually, i've made a couple attempts but non of them really worked out so far, its hard to get the composition right when working with such proportions, and every version i've gotten inked and liked i ended up ruining once i tried painting it XP
