This beautiful, but shy viper was coiled up under a log when I found him at the zoo. Still managed to capture a cute portrait if I do say so myself. :D

Thanks, Paint! You just gave me an excuse to return to my local zoo, and double check on this one., The head doesn't seem to fit 100% with the viper, but I'm up for confirming.

i've seen 2394723947239847 gaboon vipers in various zoos all over and this is a gaboon. The pattern alone screams gaboon.
