This is a portrait of Nish the Shadowfox (character by
shadowfoxlizzie) observing a silly little red fox who after chasing his tail finally got what he wanted^^ (I also want to give credit to tombtail who's work definitively influenced my feral canine work :)
Personally I really like how these two figurines turned out though I made several mistakes when creating them :O
I was halve way finished with Nish when I realized I had to turn her face more to the right to get the facial expression (I was going for mostly amused and perhaps slightly puzzled by the red fox's silly behavior) and the heart/paw shaped pattern on the right thigh in one picture. Luckily I managed to do so without damaging the snout. Later I realized I'd almost forgotten the bandages. Getting them around leg and chest already in a sitting position was quite a piece of work.
The red fox was initially standing up but I didn't really like the result so I gave him a lying position (which is why the face is turned slightly too much upwards; I didn't manage to adjust it all the way down).
And when finished I realized the perfect spot for the camera and the light were the same...grml... :/
But looking at it now I realize it was really worth all the hassle :D
Ah, almost forgot: since I wasn't too sure whether black was the right choice for my first (anthropomorphic) Nish figurine I used dark grey this time (though for some reason it kind of looks like dark green in the picture) o.O

It looks well worth the hassle. And having to fix things like that only make you better at what you do. This is very adorable and I think both the facial expressions and body positions work well. The red fox looks like he's cross-eyed, staring at his prize in his mouth, and him laying down makes it seem like he may have fell while trying to get it, which only adds to the humor of it. Also, the ears really make the expressions too. Good job. Honestly this is great. (And it doesn't look green to me)
Ah, yes...the green shade might have been my smartphone display :D (still the actual colour is a lot darker than in the picture)
I like how Nish turned out and the body proportions of the red fox work too but I think I'll still have to practice some more with lying positions. *making mental note*
I am happy you like it :)
