Thank you for the condolences, Professor Moriarty needs them more than I. I came home from a walk, and found him in front of the computer and monitors, the red from the computer's LED shining off his unmoving white stripe. I took off my coat, picked him up and cuddled him, though he was clearly gone. He was supple, and warm. I may have missed his passing by minutes, still I hugged him, and kissed him, telling him I loved him, hoping his spirit was still aware. He was a challenge, he was a smart guy, even when he, at the vet tipped 17 lbs... Too much weight. I got him down to 13.3 lbs, but it wasn't starvation that claimed him. I have a nasty mold in my apartment... Who else has to die, before I get moved to a safe place, with Gherkin, 8 1/2 years, and Cooper, 3 1/2 years.
