The very edge of Superstorm Sandy passed by Chicago. Of course we didn't get any damage or flooding, but the wind whipped up Lake Michigan with near-record waves. A huge wave hits the breakwater at North Avenue Beach near downtown Chicago.

But on a more serious note, I'm glad you're safe, I've been hearing about how a lot of family members can't contact their loved ones because the power is still out in some places.
