Equine anatomy. Ugh.

Why do I never get the size of the body right? Or if I do get the size of the body right, I get the size of the legs wrong. Or if I get both of those things right, I can't get the head, neck and body to join up properly.



I'm not happy with the way this one came out, but at least it looks a lot better than the 2008 original. I tried to pose him in a way that suggested he was flicking his head back, but the upward angle created some perspective issues on the main banner - especially compared to Bubba, who is standing next to him in the compilation.

Some might also notice that I've made a slight alteration to the colouring of his mane and tail - they were somewhat lighter than the chestnut colour of his coat, but I actually prefer the way it looks when they are darker. (And I don't want to put a white stripe on his face, even if it does look a bit weird with the white legs.)
