I was looking through my pictures on DA and wondering which good ones I haven't put up here yet...because I really should try to keep a balance between two art sites. x3

Anyway, this is Captain Darcteis Shirangu from my Adventures of Liz and Laan comics just loungin' after a morning of training and probably wondering where his two kids are.

Even though he's mostly a secondary character, the parent of the protagonists, I admit to liking drawing him quite a bit. xP I guess I have a crew of male characters from different story worlds that I can use for body-drawing practice every once in a while. :B

And yes, he only has one wing; lost the other one in the last Great War. And yes, he did have to practice trying not to walk or fight with an unbalanced gait because of it. x3 Every so often it's nice to develop a character with a sort of handicap and see how they evolve; another priceless lesson that even background characters teach.
