
XD Yes, I think the answer is yes. This is the new enclosure that I have set up for my Okeetee. This will serve for a year or so (it's a 10 gallon tank) I guess, and then one of my spiders will graduate to this awesome scene. The snake will go into a home done up just as well as this, but much bigger at that point, big enough to last him his whole life.
My goal is to have something this awesome for each of my critters, but as many of them are still babies, it's not prudent to put this much effort into their homes as of yet. Tho they are still nice! :3

If it's coconut bark or eco earth, it won't. For starters, there needs to be an introduction of microbes and critters. It would also have to be deeper and relatively moist to facilitate the growth of the microbes. Drainage layers are helpful, but not 100% necessary unless you're putting live plants in it
