This is my second-favorite of the entire project. It stood at a firm lead for quite awhile, but the next image I'm going to upload takes the cake.
That said, I adore this. This is such a different take than everything else I've had commissioned. While everything else shows how Murdock is now, this is a picture that's been kept for years. It has a wistful sort of quality to it, a nostalgic thing going. It's adorable, it's simple, it's cute...I can imagine an older Murdock smiling happily at it in his later years.
It's very touching. I'm so grateful Pie had this idea.
