Been missing my mom lately, and it made me think of the one person who got me through tough stuff. My cat Reeshara who passed away in the middle of my freshman year of High School. Sounds ridiculous but she adopted me as a baby and stuck to my side until the very end.

In a way she was Akako's mom, Akako came to be because of Reeshara's passing, and if I miss my adoptive mom as well as my mom Akako certainly misses her mom.
