Skyrim Needs: A Destructive Environment
Besides the hilarious occasional clipping glitch, every now and then I wish I could send a bandit thru a tower wall.

that would be fucking awesome if it would happen!
hardware limitations stop it from being official on console but as istharius mentioned a mod might do it, would have to be a skilled modder thought
even if it was only certain walls or places it would still be great!
or even if the structures auto rebuilt after like an hour of being away from them lol

They have the beginnings of a destructible environment. Currently a mod exists that lets you smash bottles.
Closest I get to throwing people around though is using NoClip and GodMode. Get under the NPC until my head is still above the gorund, look up, and spam Fus Ro Dah some 80 times. Once I get back above ground and turn NoClip off, the NPC is launched into orbit by the force of the FRD spam. Its hilarious.

I wonder how much destruction could actually be rendered by the Creation Engine before it falls apart? It's a modified, enhanced Gamebryo engine, so it retains the...oddities of the last two ES titles and the recent Fallout games as well when it comes to game engines.
Of course, building Skyrim in Frostbite 2 would be a monumental undertaking beyond some random people on the net, even if it has teh best destruction around...

But every castle and tower is already a ruin anyway without them being smashed up further. That's one thing I always found odd about the series. So many places look like ruins, but they're still in actual use by the soldiers, like they build all of their forts pre-ruined just to fuck with historians in a few hundred years time.
I wish you could mangle bodies more. I wanted to see guts coming out and limbs missing after feeding on victims and stuff. Also wanted to burn down houses and kill those annoying kids in Whiterun. It would be freaking awesome to blow up walls and stuff too. That and the gory stuff would make the hammers worth using.
I, for one, don't wish for destructible environments in Skyrim. Whiterun is in bad enough shape I don't need to remind the Jarl who's the top name on his shit-list when he sees me clearly through that big gaping hole in his keep as I surf that giant stone eagle from the Sky Forge through town.
