Here's a pic of my USB stick...

Not 5 minutes ago the connector fell off completely as you can see..

Now I know that certain places can fix the snapped connector, but will it register again if I do get it fixed I ask?

Yeah yeah the casing is just decoration and has nothing to do with it's functionality really. Just make sure the metal flap bit is on it again so you can stick it into the USB port and all is fine :P
