May I suggest, Foamies works best for the base of the ears. Just a suggestion, but it would be worth a try! The ears bend amazingly when using it, and it works great! :)

My issue with foamies is they don't stand up against time and abuse, especially if stored improperly then have a tendency to bend and stay in that bent shape.

Hmm... Ive been using it for sometime, but I haven't happened upon that... Probably because I'm overly cautious with my fursuit heads. XD
