Gonna use these sketches in the future to mess around with coloring Crystal ponies. They have a lot of unique features and a lot of gradients to play with so I wanted a default kinda "pose" to let me mess with that whenever I get bored.

The top left is when they are affected by King Sombra's magic.
The bottom left is when they are "happy" think Crystal Faire stage.
The image on the right will end up being the pony fully crystallized.

With each of their stages throughout the season 3 premiere having such unique looks, I wanted a chance to work on all versions of the same pony. So I drew out what the pony would look like in each stage and will eventually color it up in the growing stages of color. The first one being dull and flat with muted colors, the second being bright and showing their true colors, the final being semi transparent and appearing as though made from crystal itself.

Eventually I wanna make a Crystal Pony OC, if anything just to color sparkly things LOL. But that won't be until I get a solid idea for one, which will take forever so don't expect to see one in my gallery for quite some time.
