To the above comment, I'd personally love to see what you could toss out. You seem like you have a competent grasp on art in general.
But who knows.
Maybe I'm talking out of my ass.
This is pretty rad. I'd definitely commission you, of all things, for a steam avatar drawn completely in crayon.

haha well
i didn't make this account with the intention of posting anything at all, much less personal art. just to browse and like... say hi to folks i met at cons.
but i draw alot of things for people at cons and i dunno. i started posting. so far i've been happy/satisfied with my little corner of fa just drawin' people badges and fanarts.
i am just... generally more relaxed when posting fanwork and things for others. many many years i posted original characters and stories and didn't exactly lead to me being very happy.
when i draw fanart i can post up things without much worry. i can try out new techniques that i use in my personal work. it's much easier to focus on certain things when i'm doing later.
i HAVE posted a few things. a couple of original characters or two are hidden around my gallery as well as some concept work.
also i am glad you think i am least competent haha. i have been putting out the effort to try be MORE competent lately.
i have considered opening up commissions once i finish some personal projects of my own. school really sucks up my funds and i could use the money too.
how much would you pay for such a thing? I'm considering doing crayon conbadges too. my copics are fading pretty fast over here :(

i don't think that thinking someone's work is better is a particularly good reason to not share your work.
however, confidence helps a ton and i didn't post anything for years so what do i know.
as long as you'e drawing right?
even now i draw far far more than i post. i try and fill ten pages or more in my sketchbook a day.
