Hey I've got a similar sketchbook! Except mine isn't perforated but they're great for scanning either way because they actually fit on most scanners. XD

yeah, the 8x5.5 size is just a great working sketchbook all around. i have a larger one for big commissions, plus the bristol i use for comics...but anything i draw on those i have to scan in segments which kind of stinks.

haha i tend towards 8x5.5 because two of them doubled up about equals the size of a page for inhuman, which makes them perfect for doing cover art.

dude you need like not just different shades but different brands and mediums because they all react differently to other tools and techniques

haha mine is required to be portable because I NEED TO CHANGE LOCATIONS
different parts of the comic process require different settings, for... some reason
