Whoah. Veeery nice!
I'm lovin the pose, and the overall look of the char is wonderful.
I love the feral looking paws. I can never seem to get em to look like that when I want to, they either look too lanky, or too wierd.
And your watercolor technique is awsome. I still would like to learn, and I'm in a good position to do so. Any pointers?

Hmmm, pointers on watercolor. Well, for this, and the other pieces I uploaded, I was using a very unusual method. The old women at the watercolor association might have a stroke if they saw XD Cardstock does not hold up to pooling of the paint, and soaks in water quickly, so I used a small brush with a minimal amount of paint and would lay down little strokes. It came out looking and behaving a lot like marker.
I had to do it that way because of the paper, but I like traditional watercoloring technique, too. Watercolor is such an unusual, nonintuitive way of painting, it's probably good to get a book on it. Just picking up a brush and going at it won't give very good results, and can be very discouraging.

Though it would probably be a lot cheaper to just use the markers I already have to achieve the same results. If I want to use watercolors, I'd like it to look as... er, watercolory as possible. X3;
"it's probably good to get a book on it. Just picking up a brush and going at it won't give very good results, and can be very discouraging." ~ Ahah! Good. That's what a lot of people at my work told me. They have voiced their own opinions and many have said that a guide will do ya wonders. But it's always good to get the thoughts of others as well.
I do appreciate you taking the time to answer my kawestions :3
