Finally gettin to some commissions, yo! Now I can fail less.
Tried out gradient shading today. And uh. I less than pulled it off XC As much as I like how gradient shading looks, I really didn't get much a feel for it. I am, however, satisfied with this. Greatly. 'Cause at least it kiiinda looks like how I wanted it to. Could definitely have used some backlights, or more darker value, but I just couldn't get it to look right.
Also drowned it in my ugly effects, but due to the high contrast colors this character has, the effects turned out pretty ok.

Also also I <3 dragon faces. If anything, most of my pleasure comes from making dragon faces. And Sol's face was especially nice to make.
Just look at that stank eye he's givin. olol.
