Dionysus is a ooak (one of a kind) friesian kirin sculpture. He was made from polymer clay over a wire and foil armature. Dionysus is about 5.5 inches long from chest to bum, about 14 inches long from the end of his tail horns to the front tip of his antlers (full length), and about 9.5 inches tall from hoof to the top of his antlers. Dionysus was painted in acrylic to a deep black with shimmering violet and green iridescence on his scales, hooves, horns, and antlers. He has inset brown resin eyes.
I haven't made a dark coloured kirin before so was excited about this guy. I did a lot of editing on his legs to get a fancy dressage pose with proper balance. In addition, this is the first time I've done this, his antlers are removable, as are the horns on his tail. I did this to give myself less of a headache in shipping, and hopefully it will allow me to charge less for shipping on these in the future.
Dionysus is for sale! You can check him out on etsy here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/114725.....e-polymer-clay

Your work is so amazing! You have such talent! You should work for Breyers lol
The only thing is I think the straight leg looks a bit awkward. Is that a certain walk horses do possibly? (like show walks?)
